Hey Guys! Regarding the Email asking about TBI for an AMC engine, contact the TPIGUY. He makes systems for the AMC engines. Even though he is called the TPIGUY, he also does TBI units. He has the whole thing figured out. Custom chips and all. You might want to stick him in your info files. There are many of us FSJ (full size jeeps) nuts out here. Jeep nuts is NOT a breakfast food. These FSJs are the J-pickups and the big Cherokees and Wagoneers, not the downsized Cherokees and Grand Cherokees. I would guess this guy could use a bit of exposure. Parts and services for these forgotten trucks is hard to come by. I'm sure there are plenty of FSJers that would welcome info on this fellow and his systems. The runners on the AMC intake are so close to those of the small block Chevy that some TPI systems can be adapted. I know that several Edelbrock systems have been done. These use the Edelbrock Torker intake with injector bungs installed on the runners to match the spacing and orientation of the Chevy system, then it bolts right on. Cool. Never seem to see much of anything about the older, less numerous trucks. If you need info for the Jeep full size trucks, look for the IFSJA (international full size jeep association) on the web.
